A new Sipher teaser video has been released and it gives us a glimpse of the visual aesthetics of the world of Sipheria as well as its characters. The three races, Inu, Neko and Buru, shown in the trailer all have animal characteristics wearing colorful and futuristic attire. We also get to see a battle arena where the three main characters set in and work side by side battling out against AI mobs.
What is Sipher?
Sipher is a new upcoming MOBA game (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), inspired by games such as League of Legends and Dota, set in a futuristic, cyberpunk-esque world. In contrast to other MOBA games, the game also features PVE elements where you get to explore the world and go on an adventure to collect various items. Similar to Decentraland, players will also be able to own land in the world of Sipheria, where nodes and tiles will be available for capture.
The game’s weapons, cosmetic and functional in-game items, resources and achievements earned by the players, will be represented by NFTs (Non-fungible tokens). Each of these NFTs will be numbered. For instance, 21 out of 500. This shows there will never be more than 500 of this particular asset. In addition, each item also has an item history attached to it. This means that if your character’s weapon is the first to defeat a boss or an instance, it will be recorded on the item and hall of fame.
NEKO public sale
In September, the first race of Sipher, Inu, went on a public sale where 10,000 SIPHER Inu NFTs were released. These are now available for secondary purchase on OpenSea.
The public sale of the second race, Neko, will be launching in the early next month on 6 November 01:30 AM UTC. More information can be found on the game’s official website.
