Axie Infinity offers a captivating gameplay experience that centers around raising and battling Axies. These lovable creatures come in various shapes, sizes, and types, each possessing unique abilities and attributes. Players strategically assemble a team of Axies, considering their strengths, weaknesses, and synergies, to compete against other players or challenging AI opponents in turn-based battles.
Beyond battles, players can engage in a range of activities within the Axie Infinity universe. They can embark on quests, explore the vast landscapes, mine resources, and participate in various community-driven events. The game continuously evolves, with new features and updates introduced to keep the experience fresh and engaging for players.

Play-to-Earn Mechanics

• PvP Battles: Players can earn Smooth Love Potion ($SLP) by winning matches in the Arena mode. The amount of $SLP earned depends on the matchmaking ranking (MMR), with higher MMR resulting in more $SLP rewards.
• Daily quests and PvE missions: Players can earn $SLP rewards by completing daily quests and participating in Player vs Environment (PvE) matches, such as ruins.
• Breeding Axies: Players can breed their Axies to create unique offspring with different body parts and features. These unique Axies can be sold on the marketplace as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), with their value determined by stats, abilities, and rarity.
• Scholarship Program: Players who own multiple Axies can lend them to other players, known as scholars, who don't have the resources to buy their own. In return, the scholarship manager receives a portion of the player's earnings as agreed upon.
• Investing in Digital Land: Players can invest in plots of land in Lunacia, the virtual world of Axie Infinity. They can customize their land and rent it out to other players, who may use it as their Axies' home or headquarters. The value of the land can appreciate over time, providing opportunities for selling at a profit.
• Staking $AXS Tokens: Axie Infinity Shards ($AXS) can be staked for passive income and rewards. Players can lock up their $AXS tokens, allowing them to participate in running the blockchain and earn percentage yields as rewards. Staking can be done through the official Axie Infinity staking portal. The $AXS token can be purchased on popular exchanges and staked for rewards. Axie Infinity plans to introduce an in-house staking mechanism in the future.
